Cable TV providers need more basic channels

At present I am receiving my TV programming via my current cable TV provider’s Freeview option. I am also signed up for several “category” TV packages that appeal specifically to my tastes. I like old movies and don’t much care for violence. While this is extremely cheap I would prefer a few more channels and a bit more reliability of service. It seems certain cable TV providers lapse from time to time and mine is one of them. My plan which I have labeled as brilliant is to round up an errant satellite dish and connect to TV by means of the sky. If I tap into Freesat from the BBC I can watch around 100 channels of free TV. But better yet if I pay a one off charge to SKY TV I will enjoy reception of over 240 super clear digital TV channels along with 85 radio broadcasts. Then, if I decide I want more specialised viewing I can sign up for any of the low priced TV packages available from SKY. SKY TV also has bundling plans that let me combine my home phone and broadband with my TV in one low priced deal.
